Personalization Areas and File Preparation

Personalization areas are usually defined as name, date and text message on the front and logo or pattern on the back. For shapes such as circles, hearts or snowflakes, it is important to leave safe space around the hanging hole. Edge bleeds and cropping errors are minimized when the trim allowance and bleed area for Ornament printing are set correctly.

• Vectorize texts and leave backgrounds intact
• Leave at least 5 mm safe space around the hanger hole
• Check white ink layer requirement on dark backgrounds
• If a gold-silver effect is required, specify with spot channel, not solid color
• Reference from the center for front-back alignment

Production, Drying Times 

In Podbul, ornaments are produced with UV printing technology. UV ink instantly cures and fixes to the surface as soon as it comes into contact with light. Thanks to this process, the colors appear in high clarity and the surface becomes immediately tactile. After production, a short stabilization process is applied to ensure full hardness and scratch resistance of the print.

• Production time: 1-3 working days
• Stabilization time: 1-6 hours (depending on ornament material)
• After stabilization, each ornament is individually quality controlled
• Products are prepared and shipped with protective packaging

For bulk orders, capacity planning is important as drying and quality control stations are shared. Matching deadlines to the seasonal calendar works best as job lead times can be longer as the variety of customizations increases.

Packaging, Breakage Protection and Delivery

Each ornament is individually wrapped with a protective sleeve or film to prevent scratching the surface. In acrylic models, the surface protection film is not removed after production and is taken to the packaging stage. The products are placed in inner supported boxes and fixed with shock absorbing filling materials in the outer box.

Set packaging: For orders of more than one ornament, the inner tray with compartments is used
Labeling: Fragile warning and directional signs are applied

Estimated lead time is between 2-5 working days depending on production flow; it is recommended to leave an additional 1-3 days planning allowance during peak season. For integrated orders, tracking numbers are automatically generated and shipment departures are scheduled according to daily pick-up times. Since delivery time varies by region and carrier, early planning is the safest approach for gift orders.
